I’m looking for wild game in Ontario, Canada. I understand that it is mostly illegal to sell wild hunted game but I’m wondering if anyone in this sub can share any resources. With every commercial butcher selling farmed, is the nutritional and organic-ness sustained? Just looking for the optimal way to eat game in conserving nutritional value which is highest in wild hunted game.
Looking to introduce it to my diet to improve organ tissue health. In Toronto but willing to order/ship or travel if it’s attainable.

Get a gun and a hunting license and get it yourself. Buying or bartering wild game is going to get you and whoever sells it to you in a lot of trouble.

There is a farm called bearbrook farms here in Ottawa. They are probably as close as you’ll get without hunting it yourself.

Maybe this is the perfect opportunity to learn how to hunt.

The elimination of “market” hunting is fundamental to the North American Model of game management and is one of the reasons we have recovered many game species in North America.

Gotta make some friends who hunt! Even farmed game meats would be good, though; just expensive.

Get a PAL and hunting license. You folks in Ontario are spoiled with the game you have over there.
