Now I agree with all the comments about how a helmet is not gonna stop a sniper round but tbh you never know if it might save your life, like even if it penetrates you don’t always 100% die and the helmet could possibly cause a better entry angle for the bullet entering your brain or slow it down. Even if it’s a .1% chance it’s better than getting domed with no protection at all.

(believe it or not I work at a hospital and there have been several patients that have come in because they have a literal bullet hole blown into their brain and they survive and in some cases have an almost full recovery)

The title is a bit strange. Helmet or not, he would’ve been dead. No helmet is gonna stop a direct hit from any sniper rifle. With luck, a good angle or a non direct hit maybe but that’s to specific to State in the title that the guy was not wearing a helmet.

Question to the people that are downvoting this: Is it because of the poor quality of the video? Or because a Ukrainian guy is being killed here? If for the first reason, I understand, it’s not 4k HD and everything, but if for the second reason, you’re kinda weird.

I keep rewinding and replaying the shot over and over, it looks like it may hit to the left of the guy and missed. However cannot rule out richochet from the ol brain pan changing the trajectory.
