I feel really dumb asking this question, but I’ve googled and searched Reddit for this answer and cannot find it.
I am trying to replace the optics plate on my Glock 40. My initial effort was frustrtated. I was worried about stripping the screws. On a previous firearm, I had to send it back to the manufacture when installing a similar optic for exactly that reason.
So, do I man up and push? Or do I need to heat this bad boy up to melt locktite? Or is there a Secret Glock Society solution everyone is hiding from me?
Thanks and appreciate everyone’s patience and advice in advance.

It should come right out. They’re not very tight. I’ve hade 0 issues with my Gen 5 MOS’s. Just make sure you use the right torx or Allen key.
