Edit: I had a small issue with a cerakote on the handguard and they sent a new one.

Congratulations on your ar, but I’d take it to make sure it’s headspaced and everything. My brother got one a while back, and it was a grenade. I heard that they’ve come a long way, but definitely make sure.

I just picked up a diamond back 300 black out the other day. I just need to get ammo to shoot it

Congratulations! Seems like you have a plan. Good advice in this thread also. I’ll add train as much as you can. Get a good instructor a time or two as $ and time allow. Imo the order should be sling, instructor, optic, everything else.
