need help with 2 decisions

im wanting a dot sight on my duty pistol

first choice, trade my g17.5 for a 17.5 mos or get it milled

choice 2 507c green/red or rmr 2

i have blue label pricing because of armed security license

RMR for duty. Getting the slide milled for a specific red dot will negate the need for optic plates and have the rds sitting lower. .

Also, standard RMR has the same footprint as the 507C X2

I love my RMR on my FNX45. But idk about the glock. I only got my first one ever a few weeks ago. 19X.

Get it milled. It sits lower and there’s no risk of tolerance stacking. And for my money RMR. I have them on three of my guns and love them.

I’ll throw out a third option. Buy a zev slide and use your internals.

Get the 17 milled for an rmr. Have a badass duty setup.
