New Handgun for Conceal / Suppression
I’ve got a Sig P320 M18, which I like, however, it’s a bit on the larger (wide/heavy) side for concealing and I’d have to spend $220 to get an after market threaded barrel and another $450 on the proprietary optic, which puts me in the realm of just buying a whole new gun.
* Threaded Barrel
* Works well with suppressor + Subsonic (YHM R9 suppressor is what I’ll be using)
* 9mm preferred (but open to others, but nothing larger in diameter due to suppressor limitation)
* Optic Ready / Optic Included
* Concealable / thinner than the M18 (1.6″)
* Reliable as it will be a carry gun
* Comfortable for someone with moderately large hands (wide fingers/hand, but not super long)
* Good/decent trigger
* $1,000 or less including a red dot optic (\~$250)​

So is the plan to sell the M18 to purchase the new handgun? What optic are you looking to use? Concealed carry and suppressor host are two relatively different uses unless you plan on carrying suppressed, which I doubt with the R9. Out of what you have listed, the Hellcat is the most concealable but I haven’t seen anything about how it suppresses. The other three are practically the same size as your M18. I think you are looking for a panacea that does not exist.

I mean, you already spent the money on the M18. Most double stacks, especially the ones listed don’t get thinner.
I would just get the threaded barrel, and if you’re really upset that the direct fit is for a Sig/Leupold optic you can get [this plate ](https://www.bobroengineering.com/SIG-320-M17-RMR-MOUNT-WINTEGRATED-REAR-SIGHT_p_51.html) for an RMR.
Also, I think the Holosun 507c and/or 509t will direct fit.

Besides what you listed there, take a look at the FN 509, HK VP9 Tactical OR, Beretta APX, and Springfield XDm. They all have optics ready versions with threaded barrels. Normally I would also include the Beretta M9A4, but I understand their plate system is problematic and you can’t really get plates for them yet anyway. I’m sure others will add some brands and models that I missed.

I went from carrying a P320c RX for the last 4 years to a P365XL the last few months, and it’s one of the best firearms related decisions I’ve made. Previously carried a Glock 19 since 2011, so I was always used to mid-sized handguns. I’m 6’2″, 220, and usually wear an XL glove and the P365XL is extremely fitting to my hand and comfortable to shoot. Worth a look. The only caveat are the limited optics.
I wasn’t a fan of the options I had for this gun as far as optics go without an adapter plate, but I love the stock night sights that come on it so it wasn’t a huge downside for me personally. I love the DPP so I bought the adapter plate to fit it to the P365XL, but it was too high for me.
Edit: if you choose to keep the M18, SilencerCo makes a decent threaded barrel for $120, and you can easily find the Delta Point Pro for $350 or less on the used market.

I conceal carry an X Full with no problems in an Aliengear shapeshit setup with only aa tshirt. My buddy had a small XDM with the shapeshit setup. He hated it and on him it printed like crazy. We went the same day and picked up or X Fulls. He has modded it to be more of a carry size with threaded barrel. He is able to conceal it with a different holster. He has the threaded barrel in case he makes it is bed side gun.
I only bring that up because there are so many things that go into being able to conceal properly. The holster you use, how you carry (IWB vs OWB), where on your body you carry, your body shape, even the belt you use will play a factor.

I don’t plan to carry suppressed, no. But I want the ability to shoot it suppressed.

FN 509m Tactical, they sell the compact with vortex venom for ~$1k.
