    Hi All,

I just bought a 20g franchi affinity 3. Haven’t had the chance to take it out to the range yet but I am trying to load dummy rounds in it to test the loading and action.
When I go to load a round into the magazine it goes 80% in easy and then needs a ton of force to put the last part of the round in. The next round does the same thing, starts easy and then rough.

I thought it was the dummy rounds so I ordered another set and it is doing the same thing. Anyone encounter something similar? Is it a defect, something I am doing wrong, or two bad batches of dummy rounds?

It’s probably the shell stop causing the tough last bit because you have to get the rim through.

Are you loading the chamber first and then dropping the bolt, then load the tube?

Try opening and locking the bolt back. if you haven’t already take the plug out tube magazine.

Picture for reference. Looks like the shell stop or whatever you call it is blocking it. Normally it would move over with pressure from the shell, but there is no room for the other end to move more
