Night Fishing
Floating the Rappahanock tonight on the kayak, mainly going to be fishing creeks. Any advice on what to take / use

One of my favorites for night fishing is a rattling square bill, I replaced the hooks with trebles that have spinner blades underneath em. It draws a lot of attention so if there’s something aggressive/hungry in the area you’ll most likely get a bite. One downside though is I think they think the spinners under the trebles are fish, so it catches some of the smallest bass out there, but it does bring in some big ones too.

What part of the rappahanock? I watch the flow rate on occasion and always worried about going down it since I have to paddle back.
