Noob to silencers, new to suppressors.

Hey, I’m looking for recommendations. I think a surefire mini will handle 5.56 and maybe 5.45. maybe even .22. I have 9mm,10mm and 7.62×39, but I’m not as interested in putting cans on those firearms. Well maybe my SBR m92. Any advice appreciated.

GuestJune 14, 2021 at 10:41 amnot to sound like a complete dick, but you will not be happy with a “k” or “short” suppressor for your first can. never shoot 22 or other rimfire through a sealed can, you cant clean it, those calibers are dirty as shit.
you need a rimfire, 7.62 and pistol can. thats the only way. some pistol cans can handle 556 and rifle rounds, but you will be switching from piston to direct/QD mounts. PITA. 3 cans are the way to go, start with a 7.62 can, omega, sandman, trash panda whatever.
then a “k” can for dedicated purpose.

GuestJune 14, 2021 at 10:41 amDon’t shoot .22 through dedicated rifle cans, they dirty up and need semi-regular end-user cleaning. Rifle cans are sealed and can’t be cleaned for 22. Any reason you want the mini over a full size rc2?

GuestJune 14, 2021 at 10:41 amGet the *Griffin optimus micro with the 5.56 adaptor if you want just one can for .22 and 5.56
Pistol suppressors are more luxury for me, and suppressed all but my revolvers. Still want to get an adapter for running my Osprey on Chiappa’s Rhino
