Basically any company can commission Rolex to make a batch of custom branded dials. Pretty famously Domino’s pizza gives away a Domino’s-branded [Air-King](https://www.gearpatrol.com/watches/a292519/rolex-dominos/) to high-income franchise owners

NRA could have commissioned a bunch of branded Day Dates as NRA Banquet auction/door prizes, maybe for gifts to politicians and executives, maybe just to separate boomers from their money sold out of an American Rifleman ad
