Looking for my first home defense/range (possibly carry? Im not super intrested in carrying but maybe something that has the ability to be holstered) pistol.
I have been shooting since I was 13 (21 now) and have shot all different sorts of handguns. My fiance is not super familiar with pistols (really good with a rifle) and would like something thats a bit of a soft shooter. I am looking for a 9mm, but there are just many options. What is your opionions on striker vs hammer and steel frame vs polymer?
Whatever I pick should definitely have an under-rail for a light. I have really poor vision and if I dont have time for glasses in the middle of the night, a red dot would be cool but not a requirment. Eventually, I will look into a suppressor for the noise reduction. Right now, here are the contenders: VP9, walther PPQ, sig P320, canik tp9sfx, CZ 75 SP-01, Beretta 92, and baby deagle because cowboy bebop.
