I currently have a Vortex viper 1-4 optic on my ar and I love it, but I’m wondering if I can get extra magnification without buying the new 1-10 for $2800.
I have little knowledge about how optics and magnification work so bear with me, but i’m wondering if I can use my current 1-4 and then also purchase one of Eotech’s fixed 3x STS magnifier and use both at the same time. That way I could get true 1x and 4x without, then flip the magnifier over and get 12x?
I’ve looked it up and it seems nobody has done this, so likely it’s a dumb question and won’t work but i’m still curious regardless. Thanks in advance!
