It’s 2022 and things have finally popped off. Your years of lurking SHTF forums and stockpiling nothing but ammo and honey mustard has finally paid off.

You recently joined a group of likeminded tindies-enthusiasts and tonight it’s your turn to stand watch. Ted, a self-described pragmatist, is your assigned watch-partner for the evening.

Ted’s pretty annoying. He’s constantly talking about how Aero is the perfect balance of cost and quality and that he never fell for the “gucci shit.” You’ve covered the nuances of tolerances and metallurgy and various ambi controls. You’ve tried to explain that empty rail, mlok, and molle are wasted opportunities. But he always counters with something obnoxious like, “What possible situation are you going to be in where you really need a battery and you’ve lost all your gear and don’t have any pockets but thank god you have one right there on your rifle in your picatinny battery holder?” Ted’s a fucking asshole.

Suddenly, there’s movement about 75 yards away. _Holy shit_, you think. Bullets start flying. _This is happening._

You and Ted are holding them off. There’s an endless stream of faceless enemies, but you have a good defensible position and plenty of Wolf Gold you got for a killer price with your Target Sports subscription before they turned into price-gouging assholes.

Then you start to notice all of your POIs are up and left. You’re hitting collarbones, shoulders, arms. Ted’s are similarly off. FUCK! Both of you have somehow slightly lost your zero. The growing pile of writhing enemies in the distance is all the evidence you need that something needs to happen.

Sure, _they_ might just adjust _their_ POA in such circumstances, but Jesus Christ _you_ live in a society.

“Re-zero,” you scream to Ted. You both duck down behind the barricade you built out of Teslas nobody has been able to charge since the electrical grid was attacked with drones.

The enemy is getting closer every second.

You quickly grab the key that’s ranger-banded to your Radian Builders Kit hand guard for just this scenario and spin your FCD Adjustable Turret Caps you got off of gundeals one lonely Friday night in The Before Times. Meanwhile, Ted is fumbling to remove his turret covers like a goddamn idiot.

“Dude, do you have a quarter so I can adjust these things?” Ted asks, having finally removed his turret caps.

“What year do you think this is? Who carries change?” You use the Benchmade SOCP mounted under your Spiritus Mk4 to cut the 550 tethering the key to your rifle and toss it to him.

Movement again. They’re right on top of you now. You resume firing and now they’re dropping like sacks of potatoes, which are a real commodity these days. Hell yeah. Perfectly center mass.

_Fwip fwip fwip_. You hear a groan and turn. Aw fuck. Ted’s bleeding everywhere, still holding the key he was using to adjust his windage.

You quickly lay waste to the remaining horde that just ventilated Ted.

You get down close to Ted, clearly in his final moments.

“You were right, man. Gucci or die,” Ted whispers as he fades away.

You’re goddamn right, Ted. “Gucci or die, borther.” Sure, Ted was an asshole, but he was your asshole, and you’ll miss his ruminations on optic height fads.

You tip your “forward” Patagonia logo hat and walk back towards camp and the smell of frozen chicken nuggets over a fire.

FCD should make their own T2 battery caps and sell them for $100 each too.

    This is godamned nonsense.

We’ve got these on sale for $33.99 (add to cart price) right now.

If they’re the only thing in your cart (quantity of just 1), there will be a discounted USPS shipping option for $3.99. No sales tax outside of UT gives you a delivered total of $37.98.

We like these caps a lot. We’ve run them through countless courses and numerous Tactical Games events where our rifles get beat up and tossed around a lot. Never had any issues with losing zeroes. However, I do agree that the potential of a zero getting messed up are greater since the adjustment is exposed versus the original.

I bought these for my t2… for the same reason why I buy Jordans… to flex on the poors while being poor.

Had these and sold them. They’re a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
