Please read before commenting on the ATF proposed regulations (both current and future)
-
I’ve been commenting this information on every single post I see regarding ATF regulation comments and other Federal Register proposals/postings, but it’s getting tiresome so I’ll summarize them here:
– All submissions received should include the agency name and docket number (for the pistol brace regulations this is ATF 2021R-08) for this notice of proposed rulemaking. They will throw out your comment if you dont include ATF 2021R-08
– Don’t use fake names/addresses/information. These will be deemed spam/written by bots and thrown out (not counted in any official process).
– Do not use a prepared script or letter (see previous point as to why). You can modify existing scripts though and personalize them to your ideas/thoughts.
– Do not use profanity or hateful speech (these are also thrown out).
If I am forgetting anything, please let me know. Feel free to crosspost this to all other threads because I’ve seen posts from even the GOA encouraging people to use prepared scripts or forgetting to mention the ATF 2021R-08 requirement. That directly results in comments being thrown out all the while submitters think their opinion is being heard/recorded.
Also please comment on their proposed regulations for upper and lower receivers.
**Edit**
You can submit a comment anonymously. **Select the anonymous option** though, do not put fake names or addresses.

These people are lesser than’s.
