    CQC from Elite Iron.

Really, there are many quality cans out there, and it depends on what you’re looking for in a can. Some tradeoffs can be made for better suppression, less back pressure (gas in the face) longevity, ease of cleaning, diameter, length, and weight.

If you’re wanting something in the shorter end than the Turbo k or Saker556k would probably be the best.

If you can live with some length the CGS Helios QD is badass but 7ish inches long

Found out I have a trip later this year courtesy of Uncle Sam. Since I gotta be gone, wanted to order up a new can for a 5.56 host. This should make the wait the easiest since I’m not home to worry about it. Looking for recommendations on your “go-to” can for this scenario. I already own a Multi-Cal that predominantly hangs out on my 300. Looking to get something a little shorter for the other toys.

    Thanks in advance.

I’ve used most of the popular cans out there on 5.56 SBRs (from Q,DA,SiCo,EA,Rugged,Griffin and SF). The SF 556RC2 is one of the most well rounded 556 suppressors available, highly recommend.

You can’t go wrong with the Surefire RC-2. Theyre one of the more expensive options, but thats because they can last well past 100,000 rounds. The muzzle device options for mounting them are also very good. All of them are very effective at their intended purpose if you shoot without the can. They are a reduced back pressure design so they don’t beat up your gun too bad. They also add a little extra velocity to your rounds. They’re not the most quiet 5.56 can out there, but it compensates for that in the lifespan and quality.
