Red flag laws
Posted by privacypolicy34 on June 23, 2022 at 11:19 amWill red flag laws affect everyone or will some people or groups be unaffected say my local law enforcement. If im really concerned about someone that works in the law enforcement and believe he or she is a threat to themselves or the public will they implement the law on them. What if it’s the whole police department that is a threat or to themselves or the public.

Even if you were 100% right reporting, on one of them, would put you in the crosshairs.
If you have a protected status/position you might be ok, but if you don’t you’re fucked.

GuestJune 23, 2022 at 11:20 amIf someone is targeted by an “anonymous tip”, if that person is in law enforcement they’re much more likely to get all phone call by their buddy rather than their front door kicked in.

GuestJune 23, 2022 at 11:20 amAs person with a long history of mental disorders, but with a clean criminal record, and decades of experience with gun safety. This terrifies me. To me this sounds like a back door for us undesirable likes to loose our freedoms due to illness. Or maybe I’m just paranoid. Probably both though in all seriousness.

The [one

GuestJune 23, 2022 at 11:20 amIt’s up to the states. I can imagine a few won’t pass them.

GuestJune 23, 2022 at 11:20 amThey only remain unaffected unless you call in a red-flag warning on your local cops.

GuestJune 23, 2022 at 11:20 amThere is no federal red flag law. 19 states currently have red flag laws. The bill if/when passed will likely not change this much. A couple of states that have already been working on red flag laws may enact them. Other than that nothing is going to change.
