Hello! I have my second ar build together now. My first build has a sig Romeo red dot sight which works great for me. I am looking into a scope for my new one! Mainly looking at vortex or leupold , $600 or less. I also don’t know what the best mount for one would be. I have an aero lower, and an aero 16inch upper. I was also checking out their scope mounts I’ll post a link to them. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the Meopta Optika6 1-6 optic or Burris RT-6. Optika is European glass for good price, Burris RT-6 a do-it-all budget optic. Above these priced optics, Viper PST is very good too.

Primary arms, swampfox optics and vortex at that price point. For a mount ADM, Laure or Badger Ordinance if you wanna go all out…

Delta Stryker HD 1-6. Better than anything Vortex or Leupold makes in that pricerange. In fact, I would go as far as to say that its the best LVPO under $1K and I’ve looked through a good chunk of them.

Warne or Seekins Precision make good mounts for a reasonable price. Check out the Meopta Optika5 3-15×44. A tough well built European optic that will get the job done for you. The increased magnification option lets you shoot closer targets and still allows you to reach out if the opportunity arises. If you want the Optika6 1-6×24, sure hard to beat that scope even at double the money.

How does this hold up against the Burris rt6 or a vortex strike eagle?
