Scope Ring Question

Hey everyone. I was looking at big boy scopes and was therefor going to have to get a mounting option for said scopes. I was looking at rings and I don’t really understand how I guarantee that the scope mounts at a 90 degree angle to my rifle. Like if my scope has a chevron, how do I guarantee that the chevron is not canted using the rings? Thanks to all for your insight in advance.

If you don’t want to invest the time to learn how to install a scope, just go to a local gun shop and have them instal it properly for a fee.

You can put a level on the top windage or elevation knob

You’ll need to level the scope yourself

The scope can rotate in the rings so you can fix any canted angles
