Sig V-Crown White Box instead of Black box?
So, I placed an order with White Birch for some Sig 124g 9mm V-Crown Elite a couple weeks ago. However, what I got in the mail was in a white box, and brass cased. The UPC on the white box matches the UPC they have for the black box product listing though.
What the heck is going on? Before I contact them, is this an error in my favor or theirs? Or is it an error at all? At the very least, the picture is wrong.

How big of a stink should I raise? I get that maybe their product photos are messed up, but that’s still not right, right? Should I file a charge-back on my card if they don’t budge or admit the mess up?

Sig announced a while ago that they would start using white boxes for some ammo due to a shortage of their printed boxes. More recently they announced that they would start using regular brass rather than nickel plated due to other shortages in their plating process.
They didn’t mess up.

The white box In gel test looks the same as vcrowns but on sigs website they say they’re not the same projectiles. I’d be upset if I ordered the black and silver box and received the white box stuff. I’m not sure if they have different powder loads but I’d much rather have nickel casings over brass. Not saying white box is bad but the black and silver is more premium. $40 is the going rate for white box elite ammo
