What is yalls opinion on the Rock Island Armory M-206?

Rough as fuck. I’d say a used S&W is a much better buy.

Junk. I’ve owned both the M206 and the longer version, the M200. The actions are sloppy, the fit and finish is poor. One of them was broken right out of the box, I sent it in for warranty work, [and they sent it back still broken.](https://www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/f5uvhb/ya_get_what_ya_pay_for_ria_model_200_revolver)
IMO they’re the worst revolvers on the market. Yes, worse than a Taurus.

You get what you pay for. Get the S&W… last thing you want is to deal with revolver timing problems, premature material/finish wear, or even safety issues to save a few bucks. Trust me, it’s not the cost of the Firearm, but the ammo that will grate on your soul over time.
