Great that you got your boy out, but that grip is a messed up thumb waiting to happen. Nothing will turn a kid off of guns faster than a mangled thumb.

probably not a bad idea to have him wear some safety glasses. Eyes aren’t something to mess around with.

Looks like a great day! I miss the days when I had acreage and could walk out my back door and shoot like that. Good for kids to get that chance.
