My boy made a pole in scouts this week and preceeded to catch about 30 rock bass with it.

that’s what i call old school! who needs a 100$-300$ fishing pole? I have respect for this kid and his parent or sibling that taught him to fish! Awesome 😎 job little fella!

This how we fished back growing up in Nova Scotia. Mostly just because we were too poor for a rod hahah. Line and hooks are cheap and you can make any rod you want once you get to your fishing hole.
