    Just trying to logic through a theoretical situation in my head. Let’s say;

    -lower power subsonic ammo

    -suppressor

    -lightweight RSA

    The question is, would a lighter weight slide make this easier to cycle reliably, or harder? Would there be something else you would change in the above?

    Not a suppressor guy but wont the can cause higher pressure? (versus a comp that reduces velocity and back pressure) Why would you use or need a reduced weight RSA in this instance? From my understanding one concern is the weight of the suppressor interfering with barrel tilt which is mitigated by use of a Neilson device. I would consider running it with factory stuff at first. Then if there is a problem it should be apparent.

    With a 147 gr bullet you should be able to go subsonic while still having the gun function. A suppressor with a Nielsen Device will counter the additional inertia due to the supressor weight. So you should be just fine with everything stock. Though probably not needed, a reduced power recoil spring will remove all doubt.
