i recommend ditching that red dot and getting at least a holosun and some magpul backup sights. then get a good weapon light like a streamlight or surefire NOT an olight(they blow up and pay for good reviews) and then a sling and then train.

I know I will get a lot of hate for the upper. It’s a BCA upper, but the lower is a Spikes Tactical. Its my first AR so please leave me some love and advice. I know BCA isn’t the best for their uppers, but for a complete for around $650 I am beyond happy.

I have the exact same upper and lower.
Question … have you noticed the sharp edge of the trigger guard area digging into the inside/side of your middle finger’s large knuckle when manipulating the rifle with one hand?

That’s awesome. What vertical grip is that? I Just purchased my first rifle too… but CA I have to wait 10 days 🙁
I was looking for a nice front grip since I bought a fixed mag I can get “evil” front grips.

I’m honestly surprised that no one has mentioned how far out the vertical grip is. Haha. I’m 6’6″ so it fits me fine.

The lower is a Spikes Tactical. The upper may leave more to be desired though.
