Thoughts on a threaded barrel on Savage Model 99?
-
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to see if anyone has threaded their barrel on a Savage model 99? Recently got my suppressor out of jail and was thinking of installing a ASR Muzzle brake on my .308 99c.My somewhat fuddish father thinks it’s unwise to do this to a 60 year old rifle. This rifle was given to me when I was a kid from a family friend who is no longer with us. Ill never get rid of it. What are your thoughts?
Bonus points if anyone has a picture of a model 99 suppressed or with a thread on brake.
Thanks
