Hey y’all I’m trying to do some research but not really coming up with a clear cut answer. I’m in the navy originally from MD and currently stationed in FL. I got my CCW down here in FL but I plan to visit family for the holidays. Am I allowed to fly into BWI with my handgun if I take the precautions (locked box, ammo in separate box with original packaging, etc.) I just don’t want them to try and take my gun as soon as I land or get as arrested soon as I step on the plane

Yes, look up TSA guidelines. Flying with guns is common.

USCCA has a reciprocity map and bullet points of state laws where carrying is concerned.

You have to declare it when you check in at the airport

Maryland doesn’t recognize any other states carry permits.

You aren’t going to be able to legally carry in MD. 99% full stop. So having said that, what’s the purpose for bringing the gun?

It has to be unloaded in your luggage and declared on check-in, Why are you takig it if you can’t carry it CCW in Md?
