We did it!!! Got our quail hunting season closing trip! And after a lot of work scouting and learning about it we harvest our first #mountainquail !!! Got the oportunity to spend a few days on the Baja High Sierra, having a great time with family and friends.
With our objective set, we walk through canyons and brush areas previously scouted looking for California and Mountain quails. Having the luck of getting our hunting goal.
Getting into that area it’s not easy and spending a few days over there too, but with and awesome scenery, great attentions from the guys of the ranch and with a great company of our family getting this amazing trophy makes that effort worth it! Simple hunt with a only a few quails harvested but really rewarding trip.
We ended the trip having some venison kebabs on the grill and a memorable trophy to admire!
