I’m new to duck hunting and I would like to get a duck call but I don’t know which one to get.

That’s a bit like what should I order for dinner. All you’re going to get is a list of our preferences, some with justification but most just tossed off like an order from the general. “Get a primos”. “Why?” “You asked for my opinion. I’ll be damned if I’m going to explain it to you”. This type of thing is not helpful.
If you’re truly down to polling strangers and doing whatever they say, go to your favorite site, search duck calls, sort by most popular, and buy the top one.
