it’s easy enough to find combat footage online, but you never see the source, it’s always either a webm or the video ripped from somewhere and posted to reddit, LiveLeak(rip), documentingreality, etc. where do people actually post this type of stuff?

I’m aware that there’s not a secret combat footage twitter, where everyone post their fresh clips, but I’d assume that there are at least a couple news outlets/websites that post a bunch of oc… right?

Realistically If you want the newest ones you’ll have to find the sources themselves. Names of groups, commanders, dates or places they’re fighting. This is the tech age. They love social media.

Twitter had many, many users who would post updated and daily videos (mostly for Syria, Yaman and Iraq) but most were banned in January. “Anna news” and “al masdar” news post quite a bit of videos, their editors in chives used to do the same on their private accounts but they were banned this year.

For Iraq, Syria, Russia, Ukraine – majority of the time they will have originally had a YouTube or Facebook account at some point where the footage was first uploaded with a non-English title, but by the time you get around to finding a direct link to the original video it will have been deleted. Along with their account too.
