I was going to have the frame stippled and the slide engraved by Wilson Combat on my G19 but they have a “We won’t work on anything somebody else has worked on” rule in their fine print. Now, I switched my trigger and disconnect to reputable aftermarket parts that aren’t going to be effected by any of this work, is this still an issue? Anyone with experience on the matter? I know, at face value it’s a no, but since I’m not having any functional work done I’m hoping it won’t matter.

    No means no.

    Call and ask them.

Followed by “put back in the stock parts and send it”

They don’t want to fix somebody else’s workmanship and incur liability for themselves; that’s not likely an issue here.

It’s a liability protection for them as annoying as it is. Prevents you from aiming they messed up. What did they say when you contacted them directly with this question?

Replace the stock parts and send it in.

That might just imply to the type of work being done. Meaning if someone else has stippled it, they won’t also stipple it.

Couldn’t you just send them the frame and slide? Why would they need any other parts?
