With the plethora of “you can’t own an RPG so other infringement is justified” comments I’ve seen online, I’ve decided to toss a Form 1 at an RPG-2 partially because it seems fun to shoot, partially out of spite. Form 1 going in next week.

What rocket is that?
Mine came with a resin cast rocket, and I’ve seen some 3D printed ones that look nice, unfortunately the metal ones dried up long ago, there’s another guy on Reddit who has a live RPG-2 and he’s always on the hunt for the metal ones because he uses to them to make actual rockets (no warheads obviously)

Given that an RPG-2 is just a smooth bore, recoilless muzzleloader using blackpowder as a propellant, can’t you just make one with a different diameter tube and not need a tax stamp. As long as you are just lobbing non explosive dummy rounds?

Technically… it’s a recoiless rifle (actually technically it’s not even that, b/c no rifling. Really it’s an in-line muzzleloader as it loads a projectile from the bore that is charged w BP), there’s no rocket motor on a PG-2. Nice piece. I have one too.
